Pre-Algebra Announcements:

  • Our first couple benchmark quizzes will be adding/subtracting whole numbers which will be given on Wednesday, September 1 and multiplying/dividing whole numbers which will be given on Wednesday, September 8.
  • Unit 1 test will be Friday, September 24.

Info:

  1. Homework is due at the beginning of class: Each problem is worth 1-2 points, depending on the assignment; in addition 10-20 problems are graded. Problems are considered completed if ALL work is shown; no credit will be given to problems without work when work is required. An assignment turned in without work will be given a 0 and can be re-done but will be considered LATE. Late assignments are worth 50% of their earned grade; students will receive 1 late homework pass every unit. Late assignments are accepted for the current unit only.

  2. Students will receive a schedule of lessons at the beginning of every unit; on the back are practice problems for each benchmark that will be given during that unit. Completing these practice problems will help prepare them for the quizzes.

  3. Notes are required and will be turned in on test day for every unit.
